Well, I've been asked a lot lately to post more public posts in my diary.

On one paw, true - I wasn't writing public posts for some time now. I rather had a lot to say about my personal life and mostly rather personal topics that are not meant for the everyone John Doe out there in the web. But then again, I hadn't hat much to talk about that was so much of general interest, that it was worth writing about in my public section.

And then again - there are, as it seems some people out there who still don't have a personal login to my diary and who can only read my public posts - which I haven't made for some time now.

Well, I guess I will try to write a bit more ( actually a little bit more then nothing at least ) in my public section for all those who don't have or don't want to have an account.

I recently watched the new Star Track movie at the cinema. Strangely the actress of the young Neyota Uhura seemed to quite familiar to me, but I wan't able to remember precisely where I have seen her before. The fun fact was, that after watching Steven Spielbergs "The Terminal" this weekend I had a real good laugther. In that film she plays a Star Trek fan that loves klingons and loves to go to Trekky conventions.

Anyway After looking her up on IMDB it plays out she also plays a role as Neyriti in the new upcoming film "Avatar". One film you should not miss !

... well, "personal luck" ist something entirely different I guess. While on my way on the autobahn my turbocharcher just fell off my engine. To be more precisely, the tubing between the motor and the turbo charger just fell off. Material fault the technician saied. Happily I have a VW mobility service, yet the trouble still remains.

I guess I will see how much the repairing will be in total. Also the sad truth is that an ADAC membership doesn't help here eigther, as they only pay up to 200E for hauling the car back to the nearest facility, which in my case was over 50 km away on a holiday weekend.

This weekend I hade a nice little idea ( after finally having a program for my smartphone that is actually able to parse 2d barcodes, instead of crashing whenever I load it ) about encoding your furcode, yiffcode, bondagecode and whatever into a simple QR code, so that you can print it out on your badge when on a convention (just one example.. the possibilities are infinite )

QR codes were used in geocashes some time ago for having the information "web device ready" for decoding information. But only slowly such codes swap over to europe. Actually the usage is quite simple. Generate a text and encode it into a QR code. That code can be scanned ( after being printed out and sticked somewhere ) and interpreted by other peoples smart- or cellphones, opening up the URL or displaying the text encoded.

I glued up a little fast QR code generator on my website that you can use to generate QR codes. Have fun using

You can use this to tag your conbadge with your furcode or wixxx. The funny thing is that others can use those long traditional codes in the furry scene in a new way. Code your likeing in a QR code that links directly to the decoder site so that others can read directly what you are, what you like and so on.

You can use the encoder to create your personal furcode and then use the supplied URL for decoding to enter it in the QR generator. Print out the image and have others scan and decode your code

The original furcode: http://winterwolf.co.uk/furcode
There are nowaday a lot of ther sites available of furries who copied the codes and code generators just use the internet to find them. The furrycode describes in a typical way what you rspecies and other traits are so that other know a bit more about you and your fursona.

There are also a lot of other codes around. Like the WiXXX, which is probably the oldest code for TinySex likings and other kind of BDSM prefers one has. There are over time numerous of copies and mocks of the codes around in the net, but the originals are still the best (because they are used the most).
... this strange sign combination was seen in Frankfurt. It basically means that you are allowed to park on the walkway ( the upper sign ) and tells you that you are not allowed to park anyway ( the lower sign ).

But anyhow. Carter gave me that link to Epsilon. Great entertainment and funny little game of portal like thinking for the poor. But a lot of fun and easy riddling non the less.

It is a sad truth, that most people treat their horses like they would treat a baby or their child... in fact - like a human would be treated. But they forget, that this is not a human they care for - it is a horse and has completely different needs and requirements for living then a human has. And even more sad is that - eigther because of excessive sloth or just forgetfulness people often just don't realy seem to care for their horses.

This weekend there was a great derby where for the 50th anniversary for the local club hey had a class S dressage tournament - also a lower level tournaments for children. And the sad images one could see all around were horses treated like sports instruments and where obviously the treatmend of a trophy was more important then caring for their horses. One example is this cure horse, left standing on the paddock. Still wearing a headstall ( so it can be easier grabbed when needed again ) also still wearing horse gaiters and hoove protection for jumping.

The horse stood there for a long time, without someone caring for to removing those things off his body for comfort. And maybe the poor one stood there the whole rest of the day wearing "sport gear" al the time. It seems around here that people think that once a horse doesn't wear its headstall noone can fetch it from a paddock anymore. So everyone leaves those things attached all the time and then wonder why the horses shy on heads and have rubbed off places in their face. Or... in some rare and even more tragic events the poor horse tries to eat form under the fence and shies up from something, hanging itself in the headstall that is set too loose and break its neck or other things like that... and sadly I've seen more then one incident where that happened...

... enough ranting... It just is so frustrating to see people seem to not learn from mistakes and continue to act in a way "because it was always done like that"
