This weekend I hade a nice little idea ( after finally having a program for my smartphone that is actually able to parse 2d barcodes, instead of crashing whenever I load it ) about encoding your furcode, yiffcode, bondagecode and whatever into a simple QR code, so that you can print it out on your badge when on a convention (just one example.. the possibilities are infinite )

QR codes were used in geocashes some time ago for having the information "web device ready" for decoding information. But only slowly such codes swap over to europe. Actually the usage is quite simple. Generate a text and encode it into a QR code. That code can be scanned ( after being printed out and sticked somewhere ) and interpreted by other peoples smart- or cellphones, opening up the URL or displaying the text encoded.

I glued up a little fast QR code generator on my website that you can use to generate QR codes. Have fun using

You can use this to tag your conbadge with your furcode or wixxx. The funny thing is that others can use those long traditional codes in the furry scene in a new way. Code your likeing in a QR code that links directly to the decoder site so that others can read directly what you are, what you like and so on.

You can use the encoder to create your personal furcode and then use the supplied URL for decoding to enter it in the QR generator. Print out the image and have others scan and decode your code

The original furcode: http://winterwolf.co.uk/furcode
There are nowaday a lot of ther sites available of furries who copied the codes and code generators just use the internet to find them. The furrycode describes in a typical way what you rspecies and other traits are so that other know a bit more about you and your fursona.

There are also a lot of other codes around. Like the WiXXX, which is probably the oldest code for TinySex likings and other kind of BDSM prefers one has. There are over time numerous of copies and mocks of the codes around in the net, but the originals are still the best (because they are used the most).

This weekend I prowled through my garden and decided that with such a great summer-sunny-weather it would be time to unpack all the garden furniture, mow the lawn and clean up a few things. A great help was draconius, who was a boon in helping as he came on start of this weeked already, helping me clean up the furniture and what not

And on sunday we all had our first barbecue. With overly too much steaks and garlic bread then we could possibly eat and an even more huge bowl of salat we had a hard time stufing our tummies. But the time was fun and the weather was excellent. I guess its the time now for regular barbcue parties in the dragons lair again - was a lot of fun with friends that I missed a lot over the last year. So and special thinks to draconius who was a real pleasure to talk to about a lot of things and interestingly a lot of common interests we seem to share. I'm looking forward to see you again dwaggie snugs

This weekend I joined the Thermen Furmeet in Bavaria. Interestingly there were much less furs there then saied to be there, but nevertheless the small group we had of furries were quite a great deal of fun.

Starting out at friday I drove down to Nuremberg, meeting with friends for a funny late night meal in a very .. well - rustic looking, but well tasting italian restaurant. Having a good time talking about the funny sides of the job we then went back and straight to bed. Saturday would be a very early startup.

And of course, it was Getting up early to be early at the spa we fetched another fur and met up with the rest in front of the parking lot. And in deed had a very relaxing day. I felt extremely relaxed, falling asleep with winderful dreams of soaring over pine rees and other interesting things that doesn't make sense in a common way. I also found out what that special scent in the stonehenge building was. Its a mixture of over 64 different fragrances Well.. I guess I have to try them all out to find that special scent in them all. Or maybe its the mixture of most of them that touches this special something deep inside of me. I will start out with a few Woodfragrances like Sizilia, Douglasia, Madeira, and pine-spruce tree.

All in all, the day was beautiful and we had a great deal of fun hanging out in the evening and dawn outside, reserving the complete bubblelayline for out group Counting for the next cycle to when the bubbles will start again. But of course... every wonderful day meeds an end. And so we saied good bye to all the other and drove back home... more then tired of course but with a promise to us all to repeat the Thermen Furmeet again soon - I am looking forward for this.

What a great weekend I visited Pegasus this weekend where we had a great time with sushi, chili con carne and a lot of fun with friends. Beisdes fun with the doggies and huggling and cuddling on the new big couch, the mare got herself a few days before, we had our fun with throwing liquerish drops all around.

The sushi was extremely yummi and tasted, looked and simply was as professional as it could get. Even when Peggi and Carter, who made the sushi did this for their first time. The chili, which was basically Hawkeyes domain was of great taste too Anyway - food was great.

Oh... and by the way of talking about food. Draconius, who wanted to fetch the bread from the turkish market was held up by a police control, as for that moment when he wanted to buy there was a demonstration around that place and the police interviewed hom for some time - making him late - but giving us a funny topic

A final note... never try to buy a vacuum cleaner bag when not exactly knowing which one... its amazing how much different types and forms and number and so on there are ...

And now... up to the north. The dragon is traveling near Hamburg this time. See you around from there maybe.

Yesterday night we broadcasted our first online webradio show for the public and it was a blast! We never thougth of such enourmous positive response and so much listeners.

But lets start from the beginning. We had all our setup ready and all songs finished about only 10 minutes before the show and were extremely in a hurry. And when the show started we just instantly settled in. It was reat and all worked perfectly... .save for apache2 which seemed to have problem streaming datachunks of more then a megabyte in a row. So we had to switch on the backup server running on a different port after a while. Then it just purred like a young kitten.

Technically we had a little glitch in the later mid of the show when my ATM broke down. Thanks to the ******* in magenta who care a shit about their customers. Well... they lost one for sure. But about that, I will tell another time. So we switched to the backup internet connection. - Possibly the HSDPA connection through my cellphone, enabling our encoder laptop to connecto to the internet via w-lan through the cellphone using WMWiFiRouter ( cool tool, by the way. Read about it XDA Tweaks and Tools ).

Back to the content. We played a lot of "good old songs" with the hint of not playing the well known versions but the "not so well known" Originals of the songs, like instead of Rid Rocks - All summer long, we aired Warren Zevons - Werewolves of London - giving all the different bits and pieces of background about the songs that might be interesting and you wouldn't be able to find in wikipedia or such.

The most astounding thing was that we actually had two "listener parties"... Only being about 3 furries on those each was a rather small number, but at least we had listener "parties" In sum, we had a maximum of counted 19 unique stream listeners plus 4 using a streamripper or two conections plus the parties listeners of 5 - making a total top of 24 furries listening to us. Average we had 14 listeners. And that was pretty amazing to know. ( A funny sidefact was that Darkwing told me via eMail on that evening, that the same time the cologne furdance was broadcasting some kind of livestream too - so it was even the more interesting and cool that we actually had that much listeners )

We also managed to enable our listeners to do call ins for the show, that we happily did. We had three call ins from around the country, chatting with furries live in the show.

Thank you all for that great evening and that lot of fun ! We definitely will do another show soon ! This time with an emphasis on more selfproduced content

( I also have some pictures. But you need to login with your account to see them in a private post )
I finally took the opportunity and took a few photos of newly framed images. But let me start at the beginning. For a birthday present I got a wonderful image form Pegasus and an image from Pan. I ordered a new Frame and Passepartou at the artstore specially cut an build for the image of pegasus so to underline the image and colors in there. Pans image already had a wonderful fitting frame around it. Thank you, you two for those marvellous presents. I look at them every day. ( no joke ! ) Here they are, one hanging over my piano and the other one hanging over my couch. Sadly the quality of my cellphone camera isn't the best, so please don't look at the bad quality of the photos taken, rather then the beautiful images.

The other specially made frames and passepartouts were for three other images I got at Eurofurence 14 this year. This is two images rom LoupGarou and one form Blotch. The one from loupGarou, with the female, blueish waterdragoness I wanted to have for 2 years now, but was unable to get it at last years art sale. But this year I got it So it hangs nicely over my sideboard in my buero and looks nicely down on me. The other one, called "Pedas" form loupGarou I also bought, because I really liked the coloring and the vibrand hues this image has. Great idea in the image as well. This one also got a special frame and resides over the boardcase in the living room.

And last, but definitely not least is the tiger from blotch. Its the image that went into the wild animal's card game deck in bigger format. This image has so much in it... so beautiful colors, the eyes and the expression... I could look at it for hours no end. I guess I fell in love with those eyes It surely got a special frame with double color passepartout to underline the colors in it. I still am not happy with the place where I hung it, as it has no lamp directly for the image and it is indirectly illuminated. But that place is the one where I am able to look at the most... but still... it would gain so much more quality if it woul hand at a specially lit place. I guess I have to swap a lot of images again
Well.. tho much too late, I just want to say a few words about this years Eurofurence. It was extremely wonderful to have such a great time. I wish it would not be over already. Let aside all the wonderful things we did and the fun we had behind the stage - It truely was a recreation time for the soul. Just too bad that it is soo close before the 11th of September. I am so much not looking forward to that day... The nightnmares already started and I have to hold myself together extremely to not just crawl into a dark corner and start crying. I have no idea why it is so bad this years again, whilest last year I was even able to ... well... I guess enougth talk... Have a save day everyone.
I am utterly exhausted, also catching a stomach-flu and having had a horrible worktime imediately after the con - my body is just compleately down. But.... inside I am happy, exhileratd and fuzzy G Its the wonderful feeling of happiness after meeting good friends and having the great time of the year...

Anyway. Just wanted to make a short public entry before I faint into bed. I will try to write more tomorrow evening in private with more details... more ... moooooree... mwaaahaha... grins Uhm. Coffein flashback ^..~
purrs contently What a wonderful weekend this has been. Luckily the weekend came very fast after last weks breakdown. It really was extremely worse last week. I just realized while I was at that weekend ^..^ Anyway. This weekend worked wonders to restore my mood again. I met with about 20 furs and we had the most wonderful fun in times. Laughing and doing a lot of.. well.. secret things giggles I always have so much fun when beeing with those there. They are exactly what fits to my own person... Creative, Happy, Intelligent, Nice, cuddly, Soft, accepting and understanding. I only wish the weekend wouldn't have been over so quick. Anyway.... No worries, the next meeting is only a short month away now... mmmmrs and yawns Only thing is... The sleep came a bit short giggles But thats nothing I am not used - so... Cheeeeeer.

It's been a while since last I wrote something here. But I've been a bit busy with a few things going on. I had a bit of creativity the past few days and decided to use my nights to draw a bit. Strangely of all - all images turned out to be yiffy or extremely sensual art grins Anyway. Got two images for my own pleasure and one for one of my best friends birthday as a present. giggles I hope he enjoys the image.

Other then beeing an awfully warm weekend nothing spectacular happened. Only yesterday when I met with another friend from a little town nearby ( about 30 minutes by car at 180km/h avg. ) We drove to a little lake and layed down in the shadows of a tree. Drawing and talking kept us for the day as we enjoyed a few cool breeses of the wind. But all in all it was a quit wonderful day that we finished with a good lunch in the evening. Well, thank you for the nice day.

The next week tho... will be extremely filled with all things... also the evenings where usualy might be working are this week planned with freetime activities.. Yay...

On Saturday, i woke up with a wide grin on my face. It was a wonderful morning and i truely felt like I am home here. This place amongst furs i barely knew, I felt more home then i guess i ever felt somewhere else. I went to get my breakfast and to snug Amur as 'usual' ( I just hope i was not too oppressive or such... i fear I might have scared him away with myself too much ).

After the breakfast we had the furry music cafe where i was sitting on a dimliutted bench and half asleep lay there with amur and some others and listened to the wonderful music. It truely way wonderful art that was shown there. Very touching and deep misic, performed perfectly professional. Chama is a great musican. An overall perfect performer who has the ability to draw you in with the story and the lyrics.. well. i already told about my mood and my feelings for suchthings. This morning was wonderful. I was held in the arms of a very special, wonderful tiger and enjoyed the moment.. the wonderful music and the mood. After a while Reesa came and joined us there... We heared a lot wonderful music and songs, singigs and plays. But there was one song, that directly struck into my heart. I think the title was homecoming. Oh gods.. I am just getting tears in my eyes just remembering this... i was sitting there, listening to the beautiful melody and the lyrics.. the story behind.. it.. it went directly into my heart. I sat there and tried to fight back tears and just curled up in a tiny whimpering ball of memories coming back. But it was wonderful to feel free to not feel ashamed for it.. for the first time, i guess...

Well... lunch was good. Even better then most meals I got when i am at work. I think it were the noodles with tomatoe, meatsoucce. Very delicious to be honest. After the lunch we went to the town to get some water for the lsd crew for the evening and to get to a bank for money *g*. Yes, i really wanted that image and got a good buffer of cash for the auction.. as the image sadly already was set for the auction as all the bidplaces were filled out. I was so nervous about the artauction. Silly dwaggie i am - I know. Not a tidbid nervous for the show, but for the auction.

Well, after gettung up a little scrumbled, as I haven't been sleeping that much the past days, I walked to breakfast more dead then alive. Luckily Reesa and Amur were there again and after some cups of 'tea' and a few cuddles I was happy again. It is strange to find out how badly i am a mooddragon. it can swap from minute to minute, i found out. And what i so much want, long for and need are cuddles and to be touched. I just only found out how lonely I truely have become due to all the pain i felt.

After the breakfast and showering and the experience that you can feel pretty dumb when you enter a shower and turn on the red waternub and only cold water comes out for .. whatever how long. So i grumbles and finally put my tail in and showered under the freezing cold water... but the water just was not coming out right and much enougth so I decided to turn on the additional cold water num, wheich was labeled blue, becasue colder then cold, i thougth, it can't be. But to my surprise.. it was hot water coming out. Argh.. they mixed the colors on the thingies and i had to shower cold in a potentially how shower showercabin.

Anyway. After this very waking up impression i went to the stage and cleared up the props and stored them away in the fireplace room. I repaied the hooks and also the somehow damaged map which was needed for Eric's Office. Somone funny put a ladder on to the paper prop and compleately destroyed it. Luckily the map was fixable.

I was fetched while doing this from Amur and was dragged away ( happily,... i somehow am a workaholic, it seems ^..^ ) and we did a wonderful walk down to the lake. We talked about this and that and get to know each other. It was a wonderful moment after so much stress and running around. Not that i don't like beeing busy - you know me all ^..^ But this was something i really had needed. I wish i could cuddle you now, Amur... I already miss this so much. sighs Well.. we also met the 'strange french furs', who are two france furs which ran around wearing sunglasses the first day despite it beeing dark outside ^..^
Continue reading "Eurofurence X - Diary ( Day 3 - Friday)"

When I woke up... or better to be more specific, when I heared my alarmclock. I wasn't sleeping really that night.. I tried to reflect about all that happened and found the reality that I had noone with me since, I had hoped for that promise to not be alone, I still was alone. I wasn't in the room where I originally was invited to, because i wanted to be in the room with the one there, but in the end I ended up beeing on my own compleately and had noone to talk to or to cuddle... This morning was probably the hardest I had there.. no sleep and a pure sadness inside me, I could not fight down.

Anyway. After finding the showers and making first experiences with the 'nice' mixer funtion of this and having a cold shower, I went to breakfast.

Here i have to insert a short warrenty. I might mix memories up at this pint I hope i will not mix up thins too badly. It might happen that events occured on other timeslots or things... but the general idea is important i think.

The morning I sat on the table with a few others and tried to eat my breakfast. When Lions_ came and snuggles Amur from head to toe. I wish I could be so free and overcome my silly fear about hugging someone to do what he did... sighs I ended up with beeing held in the arms by Amur for a moment until I needed to go down to the stage to help out there again. I haven't even seen the consite still and just continued helping building up the stage and the props. We planned the first rehersal for 9am. But i think we finally were able to start at 11am or so. We had terrible technical difficultied we all tried to fix in no time. We did a short runthrough through the backdrops, which was luckyly very fast as I had learned the script already and only needed to see who the actual props looked like.

Sometime between BBF brought his Binford 6100 Cameracrane ^..^Which was the blast for this moment. A selfbuild and very perfectly thought through camera crane build on just everydays life thingies. But non the less. Perfeclty done. With electrical rotatable camery dolly.

On wednesdeay morning, I got up very early and more fell off my bed then stood up. i was nevous and my mind was racing in circles at that time. I packed the past things into my car and tried to think of everything i wanted to take with me but I sadyl needed to fing out that I forgot my little presends for SiBERTiGER and Talon.

So I started the engine and drove. The way way not so hard to find, as I drive that Autobahn a lot and was very astonished to have arived in about half the time then pretended by the map24 service at the city where I wanted to fetch Tigerseye. I tried to get insode the city to the trainstation but was unable to find a way in. The only way inside the mpasystem gave me was closed because of constriction duties. merf Anyway, after abother 30 minutes I finally found the trainstation ( which was strangely not signed out at any pleace ). I waited for a few minutes until he arrived and was more and more nervous then ever.

But when he arrived, I tried to overcome me fears and give him a big hug - I still was so scared and filled with doubts that he could just run away with waving arms and screaming when he saw me - but he didn't. I was so happy. After that we luckily went to a chinese restaurant and eat a bit. I was happy Tiger is ushch a wonderful fur - he lead the conversation and made mejoin in it. I am sure I would have saied nothing if it wasn't for him.

I finally finished my ArtGallery version2. Its a port of an existing gallery I rewrote mainly to fit to my belongs and the lair here. It was a few nights typing and working, but finally I have it online. It will have a lot more features I will introduce bit by bit in the next few weeks if it wirks on a stable basis. The new Gallery can be found exactly at the same place where the old one was, but has a couple new features... and also, I hope a more appealing layout.

I would love to get some feedback about it. *grinnblushes

Well it was a lot of work to manually port the whole data and timestamps of everything from the old to the new one. I also reworked nearly all images there to have a better quality. I hope you will all like the new things there and eventually look at it. You can leave comments, like usual and watch the images and pictures in all categories. But it also has a major new feature. You can ask for a personal login. If you have such a login, you are able to see a lot more images and also in a higher resolution. Its still in a teststate, so don't flood me with requests for a login... I will give it to good friends only anyways...
